Mike hosts the “CREative Commercial Real Estate Podcast” available on iTunes, Spotify, and Google Podcasts. Mike is writing a book on “Transitioning from Residential to Commercial Real Estate” and is currently filming renovations for a TV Show called “This Old Building.” Mike is ACPARE (Association of Capital Placement Agents for Real Estate”) Certified in Commercial Real Estate Value-Added Mastery and Joint Venture & Fund Structure Mastery and holds the CCIM Designation, the highest professional designation for Commercial Real Estate recognized by the National Association of Realtors.
He graduated from the Carlson School of Management of the University of MN in 2006 with a double major in finance and entrepreneurial studies. Mike has been in the real estate industry since 2005 and has diverse experience in several real estate specializations including development, loan origination, brokerage, leasing, property management, acquisition strategy, capital structure, joint venture structure, and negotiations.
Mike has been to over 40 countries and travels with his wife Lisa and daughter Andi in his time off to expand his view of the world. His hobbies are volleyball, guitar, kiteboarding, and backcountry snowmobiling.
